Happy Anniversery to Me - My New Campaign Slogan

Monday marked my eight year wedding anniversery with my wife Jill.

WoooHooo!

It's been an awesome eight years!

You know, eight years of marriage is kind of like being in office for two terms as President. In fact many past Presidents have had similar results to mine in their first two terms of office.

During my first two terms (8 yrs) of marriage I have accomplished a lot:

1. I increased our spending on education (we have five wonderful kids all of whom we homeschool)


2. I have managed to both increase our debt and increase our expenses (something every good President does)


3. I have mastered the art of political spin (turning a pumpkin bran muffin into a cup cake is good spin)


4. I have decreased our taxes (we pay practically no taxes because of all the children we have)


5. I have made inpsirational speeches (ie. "Ask not what your Dad can do for you, but what you can do for your Dad")

Looking back on my first two terms of marriage makes me think that maybe I should run for President. My campaign slogan could be:

"Vote for George Manty - Two succesful terms of marriage... just imagine what he can do for this country!"
