LSU Beats the Hurricanes

I thought it was ironic that the LSU tigers beat the Hurricanes (University of Miami) in their bowl game the other day.

Top Ten Things I learned in 2005

With the end of the year approaching, I thought I would share my top ten list of things that I have learned in 2005.

In decending order of importance:

10. You can outsource work to a boat.
9. You can make money by changing your name (at least that is what I am hoping)
8. Avian Bird Flu is going to kill us all!
7. A large percentage of the US population should NOT be allowed to vote.
6. If I were a dog I would be a Saint Bernard.
5. You can make furniture out of Fed-Ex boxes.
4. We should replace Congressmen with Monkeys.
3. Texas is WAY better than New York.
2. Ants actually serve a useful purpose.

And the number 1 thing I learned in the Year 2005 is...

1. Never complain about how tired you are while your wife is in labor.

Healthy eating in School

I find this news almost funny.

How can the Illinois school system declare baked chips as healthy and whole milk as not? I thought milk did your body good...

One other quick note, Exteme Makeover Home Edition is in the area. I kind of doubt I will get out there to see it, because it is a bit of a drive from where I am. They are filming simultaneously in Texas and Virginia. Ty is here one day, in Virginia the next day. That's pretty crazy.
